ACM Cladding

The term 'cladding' means that the components that are connected to the main structure of a building to procedure non-structural, external surfaces.  Aluminium Composite Material (ACM) panels are normally used for cladding buildings, usually as a form of rainscreen. The rainscreen prevents large amount of water from entering into the wall structure.

ACM cladding can be cut and folded to make sign products and offers a distinct finish. Essentially two sheets of aluminium bonded to a thermoplastic core and it can be supplied in any finish, from metallic to high performance colour coatings. ACM Cladding is a high quality, long-lasting, light and stable aluminium compound panel with a high UV resistance. It is available in a wide range of colours.

Aluminium composite material (ACM) is a flat panel made from two thin aluminium sheets bonded to a non-aluminium core, between three and seven mm thick. The panels have a painted or metallic finish, and come in a vast array of colours, most common are, Grey, black, white and Mirror

Aluminium Composite Material (ACM) cladding can be cut and folded to create sign products and offers a distinctive finish for large areas, including exterior walls, vestibules, ceilings, fascia’s, column covers, beam wraps and soffit cladding.

Essentially two sheets of aluminium bonded to a thermoplastic core, ACM is lightweight yet incredibly strong.

Aluminium composite panels are lightweight cladding panels that should be ideal for external building facades and fascia to improve the aesthetic appeal and weather resistance of buildings When correctly specified, installed, and officially certified to perform to code and regulations, this building material has several advantages. This includes:

  • Robust durability and light weight
  • High weather resistance
  • Cost effectiveness
  • Easy installation
